Aster didn't mean to end up in with the Breezen Clan. At least, not in the traditional sense. He did hire himself out, and should have expected this. Well. What he expected was a hardcore exalting clan that would keep his cleaver singing and long and brutal hours beating those marked for exalting into the ground in the training grounds. What he got was a laid back, off the beaten track clan that exalted just enough to justify his hiring, but not nearly as intensive as he expected and had heard from others in his profession.

But at the time, funds from his last job were dwindling, and he needed a new influx of treasure. They had him on probation for a time, paying by Exalt trained, before hiring him full-time. Now, several months in, he has no complaints. Well, he could complain about the lack of excitement around.
Seriously, he thinks the Tavern gets more traffic than any other place in the clan. At least the drinks there are good, and it's always fun watching some upstart get his tail kicked by the minuscule fae bartender on a power trip.
