A shell of a dragon, Michael has never spoken to anyone; only ever settling his blank gaze on someone from a distance. In the beginning, he was a shadow at the edge of your vision, always watching. Waiting for when you were alone.

He spotted Laurie on a cold autumn night. Attacked her as he did all others. Lost. Despite her size being a fraction of his own, she easily met his ferocity before outwitting him. Since then, he's trailed behind her, acting as a normal guardian to his charge- at first glance. Is she really his charge? Or does he still see her as a victim, waiting for an opportunity to get his revenge?
