Archeodien
Archeodien, often referred to as Arc, is the leader of the Stryke clan, a smaller clan living in a niche in the carrion canyon. Arc started the clan a long time ago, with a long-lost mate named Malice who helped her found the Stryke. Together, they made a small home in the Wandering Contagion of the scarred wasteland. Their first coupling resulted in two eggs, a joy to Arc and Malice. They trained together, the four of them, until the younger, Moelwyn, made the decision to leave his family and travel to the realm of the Exalted, where he continues to thrive. During the time of the training, an egg was found while scavenging in Lightning. Protecting it as her own, Arc kept the egg and it hatched into a lovely tundra. The tundra lived with Arc and her family, and slowly the little family grew.
When traveling with the tundra one day, who had been named Andralade, they came across a tiny pearlcatcher lying in the reeds near a river. With gentle claws, Arc lifted the hatchling and tucked it into Andralade's fur, keeping it warm and safe. Once back home, they cared for the baby, raising it. They named her River, after the river reeds that she had been found in. River later found a mate, Starfield, and they settled down in the clan, making a family line of their own.
The first imperial is introduced to the Stryke clan soon after River's arrival. Imperials are rare and exotic, many clans have never come into contact with any. Ralas decides to stay among Arc's clan, guarding the now stuffy clan's home.
The Stryke continues to grow, slowly, but more beautiful, more knowledgeable. Andralade finds a guardian named Angel, and they continue with the clan together, more hatchlings following them around every month. Numbers ebb and flow as dragons come and go, some staying longer than others.
Many months later, Arc's clan has grown mighty, big enough to move into the Abiding Boneyard. Arc loves her home, and is very faithful to the Plaguebringer. The neighbors are all nice, and the squeaking of hatchlings is everywhere. Many times, Arc has to turn dragons away from joining the clan, the space too small for so many.
As the clan grows stronger, Arc decides to depart on a journey. She wanders around the known world, stopping in each for a short amount of time. Upon coming to Lightning, Arc falls in love. She loves the land and the dragons, and her loyalty to the Plaguebringer is tested as she gazes at the Tempest Spire. With a questioning heart, Arc returns to her clan. She tells her family about the wonders of the other clans, the greats and the not-so-greats. Arc then heads out into the world again, this time for information. She returns to her favorite clans that had interested her before- Water, Fire, and Lightning. After looking around and gathering knowledge, Arc once again returns to her clan. Excited, she tells the clan about the other deities, the other groups of dragons and their peculiar habits that differ from clan to clan. After much discussion, Arc decides to make the move to Lightning.
--
Many months have passed since the move to Lightning. During the move, many of the Stryke clan decided to stay, too afraid of the prospect of losing their livelihoods to the unknowns that faced the fate of the clan. And so, with a heavy heart, Arc and the other traveling members bid them farewell, making sure to either find them suitable clans elsewhere to decide or to become apart of the reverend Exalted.
Once in the Stormcatcher's realm, Arc and the rest of her wandering tribe settled into a nook in the carrion canyon. Although large enough to fit dozens, this time the clan remained small, space always abundant for whatever means they might have been needed for if ever a reason became apparent. Instead, Arc and her clan of mostly new dragons, save for herself and Ralas, became better equipped for hoarding, as well as becoming friends with as many familiars as was possible.
However, once again, after months of living a life of happiness in the carrion canyon, Arc has begun to grow tired of the confines of their deserted area, constantly filled with worker bees and the hum of electricity. Although fond of her home and the happiness she has experienced while in Lightning, she believes that the stars are calling her elsewhere.
