Autumnfall

The Ash Guard stands vigile over the dangerous plains surrounding the Cinder Marshes. Pearched on the extinguished volcano overlooking the marsh, they look on to the horizon, guarding the land from invaders, raiders and those caravans who get lost in the molten scar labytinth of lava river and smoke. All guardians of the Ash Guard take their duty with a solemn attitude and have allowed a rare patch of stable prosperity within the molten scar to remain intact.

Autmnfall was born within the Starfall Isles, abandoned or lost by her parents within the Starwood Strand. She matured deep in this mysterious woodland, as a self designated protector of a small clan of driads who weren't hostile toward dragons. From them she learned some arcane knowledge and she had her first taste of combat defending them from ravenous predators and dragons alike. Alas for her charge, Autmnfall grew restless as she matured. Plagued by visions of distant woodland and pillars of fire. Unwilling to abandon her first charge and family, she seeked the eldest dryad help to get her rid of those visions. Unexpectedly, the old fae told her that there were no way for a Guardian Dragon to escape from the Search and that they knew that one day she would have to leave. They studied her vision together and concluded that her charge would be in the dangerous Ashfall Waste where she would need to find one of it's rare zone of tranquility the Cinder Marsh. Her journey from the Isles to the Cinder Marsh was long and once she arrived, in view of the former volcanos surrounding it, she was met by the leader of the Ash Guard Nideth who was reluctant to allow her to come in. Autmnfall explained and described her visions proving that her Charge was indeed within the Cinder Marsh, more accurately in a patch of woodland at the foot of one of hte former volcanos encircling the marsh. So she joined the Ash Guard and now stand guard with the rest of her kin.
