SEPHIROTH

The Kinslayer

Sephiroth was one of the triplets born to King Yetzirah and his wife Assiah, rulers of the former kingdom called Atakhras, that once stood in the place of the Still Sands. His twin siblings were in an incestuous relationship, which wasn't uncommon in their culture. Akasha became pregnant with Partzufim's child and gave him her hand in marriage; Sephiroth didn't attend the ceremony, as he was among the very few in Atakhras who condemned their ways and such customs. He refused to acknowledge their marriage, which strained the relationships between him and the rest of his family.
Rubaiyat was an angel that fell out of Heaven's grace and was inflicted with Hell’s Chaos. She was a crazed warrior-priestess of Harmony set on purging the world of evil. When she found out about Partzufim and Akasha’s incestuous relationship, the child that was conceived of their sin and the immoral ways of their kin, she came to Sephiroth and used her angelic gift of persuasion to push him to killing his family. She convinced him that the kingdom was beyond salvation. Together they buried Atakhras and its people underneath the desert sand, creating an enormous underground labyrinth. Rubaiyat's body was crushed by the sand and her spirit remained in Sornieth, as it couldn’t ascend to Heaven, being weighted down by the sins she had committed under the influence of Hell’s Chaos.
To save himself, Sephiroth called upon his family's patron deity and was granted immortality, but at the price of gradually losing his memory, while retaining the immense guilt caused by his crime. He made a crystal body and put Partzufim and Akasha’s unborn son’s soul in it, and appointed him as a guard to watch over the bodies of his family. Sephiroth himself moved to the most remote part of the catacombs to be as far away from his family’s chamber as possible, wallowing in guilt for centuries, until Khamsin discovered his hideout and decided to hide there from ANGEL and GOLIATH.
