Born to clan sage Pietra and scientist Frond, Totem had a rather stable life with not much noteworthy happening to him.
He inherited both his father's ingenuity and his mother's reservedness and sensitivity, using high spatial awareness and attention to detail to make pristine toys for the hatchlings of the clan and to sell for the clan's profit. He doesn't leave his toymaking shop very much, but when he does he is still quite reserved, usually silent and gazing around for artistic inspiration. He also comes out to give toys to the hatchlings, or take their requests for what to make next, in which case he speaks in a very soft spoken voice for a spiral.
