Alongside the playful mischievous fey, Kletz, Duskwinter was the first of Dustwind Clan. None knew where he came from, or at least if anyone did, they never spoke of it. Like a beacon he rested on the Zephyr Steppes, and the dragons who found themselves near couldn't resist flocking to the massive guardian.

It was only after several years that the dragon uttered the words of his charge: to create a refuge and family for wayward windy souls, foster its growth, and help it prosper. With his goal well begun already, he finally spoke with his clan to begin the next phase.

"Any desire you may have, any thing your heart may want for, food or clothes, companions or knowledge, I shall document and provide for it to the best of my ability."
