Biography

tunnel hydra
My baby you'll be, forever and always.

Gabriel was born as a nomad from a long but forgotten descent. Throughout his travels, he learned the ability to survive in the harshest of tundras, to the lushest of forests. He became skilled in mechanics and sought out to calculate and predict every movement of every object based on gravity, force, and acceleration.

He created games with himself; He would throw a ball into the air and try to hit it as it fell to the ground. A simple practice on how quickly he would be able to calculate the ball's placement in the air by the time his hit would enter the balls line of movement. As he tried to go further and further, he noticed his vision was blurrier the farther he tried to see. Upon visiting a young but excitable merchant, he was able to buy glasses to enhance his vision and make accurate hits from farther distances. He began to evolve his game and eventually took up archery to land the more precise and far-away hits.

During his travels had he befriended a small peppy creature. Although Gabriel felt a reluctance to make the creature his pet due to their awful smell, he saw the cuteness of the animal and ultimately decided to make him his companion. Since the creature cannot speak and hasn't named himself, the Coatl decided to call him Lou.

Gabriel was always fascinated with the snakes of Sornieth. From powerful Hydras to the less intimidating Amphitheres, he loves them all. Especially the green ones, as it is Gabriel's favorite color.

Upon Gabriel's wanderings had he found a small and broken young Skydancer. From the moment he saw her, the Coatl was infatuated with the fragile dragon. When he approached the Skydancer and asked her about her woes, she explained how she had wrapped herself up in her studies for so long that she had lost the ability to be social; that she was alone and felt empty and worthless.

Gabriel felt bad for the Skydancer and promised her companionship for as long as she would like. Although it took a while for the Skydancer to break out of her shy and stuttering shell, the Coatl was always patient with her, and would always coax her out of her self-doubts and heavy paranoia.

The Skydancer still stuttered and had her thoughts left unorganized at times, and she was always very forgetful and slow-minded. But Gabriel didn't mind and even found some of those quirks to be cute in a sense.

Gabriel always liked the Skydancer but never sought her out for a relationship. He didn't want to scare away the Skydancer or ruin the friendship the Coatl had valued so dearly, so he never pushed the topic too far. He was content with how he stood in the Skydancer's eyes and was happy to keep it that way.

However, the Skydancer began to grow more affectionate with the Coatl. Gabriel assumed it was because she didn't know how to act with others and what was deemed appropriate in terms of being friends, but he began to grow hopeful that it was a sign that the Skydancer was taking a liking to Gabriel.

After giving himself the courage he needed, Gabriel made a slight poke into the topic to test the waters of how the Skydancer felt about him and about being in a relationship. In the end, the Skydancer confessed her attraction to the Coatl, and he confessed the same.

The Skydancer grew lighter after that. Gabriel noticed that his mate appeared peppier, and even found herself getting into giggle fits over the smallest of things. She still struggles with her speech and thoughts and finds herself brought down over the ideas and possible outcomes that plague her mind, but the Coatl is always willing to support and comfort the Skydancer at a moment's notice.

The two dragons traveled across Sornieth for a while, taking in the sights together and enjoying the different cultures and activities each flight's territories had to offer. Although their journeys were fun, the two began to seek out a place to settle down and have a family with. After some discussion, the two sought out a clan in Arcane to call home. The Skydancer was always fascinated with Arcane's magic, and as Gabriel had no preference over what flight to live in; As long as it wasn't Plague. The Coatl feared what may happen to his mate if she was exposed to the diseases that lie in wait there.

As the two flew across the Starfall Isles, they began to get a better idea of the place they would like to settle down in. The two agreed that the Starwood Strands would be the best home for them; it's cozy and it provides colorful but safe shelter from the weather or any foes that could be lurking about.

The dragons felt compelled to a specific spot in the Strands, to which they met a very colorful and peppy Fae by the name of Jayna. Before the two could even finish their story, Jayna happily welcomed them into the clan as residents.
