Micro Goat Micro Goat Micro Goat
Chevre is a hired hand, whose primary task is to haul the food carts where ever they're going next. He's not really expected to do much else and spends much of the rest of his time training his fighting skills and tending to his herd of micro goats. Chevre really, really likes goats, but the effing micro goats? Gods, they're so tiny. And they're so CUTE. And (despite their ridiculously miniature size) surprisingly good for dairy. Thus, Chevre has taken up the hobby of artisan cheese making, even though it takes like a weeks supply of goat milk to make enough cheese for a decent meal for him and his wife Liqorice.

It is perhaps a little ironic that Chevre chose a fighter as his partner. Like her, his parents were warriors, and watching his parents move out onto battlefields torn by the Emperor in the Light lands always left him with a dark ember of fear in his stomach as a hatchling. It created the desire for a peaceful life in him, and while he trains to protect the ones he love should he ever have to, Chevre is a pacifist who wants little more than his slow-paced, peaceful lifestyle.

He's unsure if his parents would be ashamed of his choice of lifestyle, or happy he didn't have to follow in his footsteps. And he knows he should not care for the opinions of dragons with whom he is not even in touch with anymore. It's still an insecurity to him, especially since he now watches the dragoness he loves move out to the same deadly battlefields instead.
Well, it does keep him from slackingg off too much. He'd love to spend all his time tending goats, but his familiar shares the responsibility for the little ramacous fellas, leaving him time to tend to his own levels in the coliseum.
