Biography

The Hydra is a beast that was born of the destructive will of The Serpent King, Orochi. It manifested one day and began to destroy and distort reality. The 9 year long struggle to kill this beast was known as the Paradox Wars, in the end, the coalition forces were able to slay the creature with the cost of many lives being taken, thrown across spacetime and the ruination of the world.

This victory did not last long, as the death of the Hydra has caused the world to fall apart. The world began to reset itself into a state where magic was at its most primal. This disaster slowly began to merge other dimensions in an effort to rebuild itself. The survivors were flung across the reforming world and the world finally became whole again. This event was dubbed, "The Great Reset"

The world was now at peace, and those who survived began to search for thier comrades in an effort to build a place where they live without the threat of the Hydra. One of the survivors, Sima Zhao, was the first to establish a place for himself and his wife. He began to search the world to recoup with those who survived the Paradox Wars and to establish a new era. He found many willing to join him, A Strategist of the Toyotomi Army, An officer of the Shu Kingdom, and many others came to his side as the Kingdom of Jin would be formed.

10 years after the Paradox Wars, Jin is now a lively place of talent and ambition. The many recruitment campaigns throughout its early years certainly helped the kingdom grow its reputation. This reputation would be tested as an insane Pearlcatcher known as Dr. Roman "Shuu" Iwamine began to take dragons and perform horrific experiments on its subjects and a plan to create an Emperor Dragon was in the works. Shuu would only be known after one of his test subjects randomly appeared one day and started to cause trouble around Jin's border. After the skirmish Shuu began to plot to destroy Jin for this slight and the war of both Jin and Shuu's lab would begin.

As this was going on, rumors of a beast stalking the Sekigahara desert came into subject in Jin's court. Not one of standing around, Zhao went off to confront whatever haunted the place,only to find out that it was another survivor that was horribly mutated due to the Hydra's influence. The survivor in question was Mitsunari Ishida, someone who Hanbei knew very well and thought had perished alongside his allies in the war. After forming an alliance with the Ghost Of Sekigahara, Mitsunari quickly proved themselves useful as they were able to push back the Emperor dragon with ease.

A few months after the defeat, one of the lab subjects, Vilin was plotting to destroy Shuu. When the plant-dragon heard the news of a kingdom that is also trying to do the same thing, he devised a plan to cause conflict within Shuu's ranks so that Jin would finish off those who swore loyal to Shuu. Vilin was able to coerce with Lu Lingqi, the daughter of Lu Bu, Shuu's strongest "normal" dragon, to have him betray his "father" as Shuu never really cared for them. Lingqi's father will forever be a pawn to Shuu if he keeps sticking around him, and with that revelation, Lingqi was able to convince her father to kill Shuu when the time is right.

The battle of Hefei was the final conflict of Jin and Shuu, the battle went into Jin's favor as Zephyr was able to slay Thanatos. This victory was short-lived as the Emperor Dragon, Kovu now sported an extra head and began to tear through Jin's forces. Mitsunari was sent out to deal with the threat only to be fatally injured after killing the Emperor. In the castle walls, Lu Bu finally kills Shuu and throws him off the rooftop to show everyone that the battle is over. Vilin noticed a gathering around Mitsunari and investigated and found the Abberation slowly dying, feeling that his purpose has been fulfilled, Villin tells Mitsunari to eat him as he needs all the juice in his body to save themselves from dying. Mitsunari complies and is saved from death but would take weeks to fully recover.

After the battle, many of the other test subjects began to migrate over to Jin as they finally got a chance for a normal life. Zhao was now able to rest easy as many of the test subjects offer to become his spies to make sure nothing like this ever happens again.
