Rhowe is a grumpy old Coatl. He used to be quite the heartbreaker, traveling the wold, having a large number of mates and children, none of whom he's kept in contact with. With each break up, he became a little more jaded, growing into a rude old man, lacking all the charm he had in his youth. Then he became sick, and not having any home, ended up at Old Oaks. He never liked Ancient dragons, thinking of them as stupid and primitive, So he was quite pleased to end up in Phthalo's clan, where hardly any Ancients resided.

One day, a Coatl named Scamander ended up in Phthalo's clan, he was optimistic, bright and charming, and Rhowe found himself falling for him. He began to put more effort into himself, trying to bring back his old charm and woo Scamander.

Scamander thought him sweet, and was taken by Rhowe's afections. Rhowe gave his Love gifts of lapis rings, flowers, letters and poems. Scamander remained a bit sly, not falling head over heels as Rhowe had, wich although frustrating, only made Rhowe love him more. He took Scamander on a romantic getaway to the coast, where the two had eggs. Sadly, the couple were hit by a storm, and forced to flee without their eggs. when they returned, their nest was gone. Rhowe was devastated, but Scamander assured him that they could always try again, and that next time, their dragonets wouldn't be left behind.
