Chintsu didn’t know where he was going, but he knew he had to find something that could tell him where he was. His memories were nonexistent. He didn’t know when he was born, who his parents were, where he grew up. Trying to think about it made his head hurt. The forest was still dim, with only the beginnings of daylight streaming through the pines, causing Chintsu to stumble every so often as he hit a root or a rock he could not see in the shadows. This was why he did not notice where the land fell away into a dark cave until it was too late and he was already tumbling through the maw of it. The only thing visible in the cave was a large box, surrounded by a pile of treasure. Two glowing eyes and shadowy hands came from the box. It readied its sword to kill Chintsu, but something made it stop. It decided to test him by asking him riddles. Chintsu didn’t know how he knew the answers, but he did. Satisfied, the poltergeist pile decided to ally himself with the coatl and lead him out of the forest. They’ve been inseparable ever since. Chintsu is a calm, intelligent dragon. His sharp eyes are always observing, always making connections from the littlest of details. He loves to learn and is delighted when he comes across something he doesn’t already know. His mind is only quiet when he is meditating. He may not seem especially powerful at first, but he is. Once in a state of intense calm- which he has trained himself to bring about with meditation- his eyes glow electric, his wings shimmer and shift through waves of blue, and his runes light up blindingly. The air becomes hot and fizzes. While in this state, Chintsu can do almost anything. He can teleport through space, and possibly even time.
