Sandstone is always travelling, always studying, and always digging. She holds to precious artifacts and the cultures they came from like most dragons hold to treasure. Studious and shy this pearlcatcher is friendly nonetheless. She seldom stays in any one clan for long but someday perhaps she'll find her own version of happily ever after....as long as there's somewhere to dig for relics that is. Uh-oh, looks like this dusty traveller wandered a little too far from her home lair (306426, EnglishRose), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful! |

Sandstone has returned from her daily visit to the clan's dig-site. With her, she brings a small stash of pretty rocks, gems, and a dusty old notebook. The notebook is large, the exterior carefully crafted from some sort of hard leather, brown in colour. Curiously enough, the delicate pages of the interior are all blank. Could someone have lost this beautiful journal before they were ever presented with the chance to make use of it? At least now, it may receive some use.

The holiday of love is upon us. Sandstone, however, does not waver in her journey. She flies through the cold wind of the Southern Icefield. She heard that dragons of this region treasure the relics of old ages as much as she does. It makes her excited for the first time in a while. She's taken in by a clan that's quite well populated - she doesn't feel too well among so many dragons. What's worse some are aggresive. She contemplates a quick escape but a mysterious skydancer stands next to her. He's as shy as she is, yet the purpose of this gesture is clear - to give her a sense of safety. She smiles bashfully. He seems to smile a little too. ~ Echelisse

She's spent a while near the Wyrmwound by now, getting to know the dragons willing to approach and chat with her and spending her days learning how the land of plague works. She can't say it's her favorite place, but dragons have been mostly kind to her, even though they seem a little off, and strangely overbearing.
It's today, though, that tides change the most. The nature of this strange clan reaches it's peak when another traveler stands against the smothering tone of the matriarch, and when the bogsneak (she believes to be named cherry) approaches her soon after with a warning that it may be safest for them both to leave, she has no reason to say no, equally unsettled by the display.
She's not sure how long they may travel together, but it's refreshing to spread her wings again, and she hopes her new companion? Friend? feels the same. ~ gayzashi
