Puri

A tidy dragon of quiet life and small pleasures, and well content in it. Deeply homebound, and home is a place, of the right size and lighting, arranged precisely, furnished for comfort and practicality and decorated with fitting colors-textures-patterns and fond memories.

Home is self brought out into space shaped to live, is right and rest and welcome and own. There can be more than one place that's home, but not just any place lived in without intent and effort and love sunk in.

A popular consultant on furnishing given how nice his and Gull's home is, but does so only on an unpaid basis. Sculptor of living wood by profession, training trees to grow into shape of seats, arches, basketweave and statuary while still rooted in the ground.

Also cultivates bonsai which, although having the benefits of movability and occupying much less space, do not take any less time to grow despite their smaller size.

Takes great pride in how well he and Gull look together, and great care of all their things, regularly cleaning and mending whatever requires it so everything is in the best condition it can be.

Made Gull's headgear himself (with consultation and guidance from Doodlebug) when they moved to Wanderin and learned the lair rule Residents Wear Hats. Since he worked on Gull's first, Gull carved a rude mask for him to wear until he made something nicer for himself, which after the care Gull put in he will never replace.

Came to settle in Wanderin because Gull wanted to try the Windswept Plateau's famed air currents and Puri caught sight of Edarra's astonishing vertical gardens.

Their presence prompts the more misanthropic residents to grumble over what's the lair coming to when mature already-established pairs move in, an actual clan?

Gull does not rise in defense any time a drake speaks meanly or critically of his mate. Gull would be surprised by the thought of Puri needing a protector. Puri would too.

Cooks enough to give to everyone nearby every time he makes a meal (and cooks very tastily even if it usually involves spices the neighbors aren't familiar with). It's a cultural thing, which makes it polite not mooching to accept and real estate near him very popular.

Remy gifted Puri a Pillow of Friendship for being himself. Puri stuffed him so full of treats Gull had to stop Remy pledging all his pillows to Puri's hoard to make up the difference in worth. (Puri keeps an extra cookie on hand for every time he sees Remy now, and helps him find new drakes to gift new pillows.)
