In a world filled with magic and strange happenings, faeries are not uncommon. They can appear from their own realm, walking the world of dragons and beasts as if they have always been there. Adopting forms that match what they want to feel. For Widowmere, they always felt a connection to the wildclaws. They liked how sleek and fierce they were yet with a certain handsomeness. It was perfect for what they wanted. What they needed. Any faerie, as the wisest creatures can tell, should never be dealt with. You never eat faerie food, you never tell them your full name, and you never make a deal. But not everyone suspects the beautiful dragon for foul play. Widowmere is good at making deals. They are flirtatious, sly and cunning. Quick with a joke and even quicker with a contract. They can pry someone's name out of them, trick them into eating some food, or in simply letting their guard down. After all, Widowmere's luxurious rose garden had the soft, gentle scents of roses and the wonderful visuals. Such a beautiful atmosphere had to belong to a creature built only from honesty and truth. Therefore, easily tricked creatures are lured deep into the rose gardens where their guard is dropped from Widowmere's practiced cunning. Then the dragon or beast will make a deal and find themselves with the short end of a stick but they can't fight against the magic of a faerie with a contract. Once the deal is set, Widowmere is more powerful because they have the deal, the contract, a name, a connection. It only helps that younger creatures don't believe in the warnings of making deals with faeries. Or that they don't know that Widowmere is, in fact, a fae just disguised in a dragon's form. There is, however, a problem for Widowmere. They cannot lie. Without the ability to lie deals can be harder to make, but that's where their true cunning comes into play. Creative truth telling has no lies involved. It can be simply omitting the truth or twisting it around. Its amazing, Widowmere has found, how many creatures never press for details on a deal or a contract. They are too willing to believe what sounds too good to be true. And that's when Widowmere strikes. The inability to lie means nothing if the fool does not care to press any further to discover the hidden agendas, the truth behind the deal, exactly what will happen to them. Widowmere feels no regret for the deals they make. Its the fool's fault for trusting a fae. Honestly, everyone should know to never trust a pretty man whose deals seem too good to be true.
