Arganach Former Rebel Captain A body painted completely in scars. His belly is full of long slashes, ridged and puckered at the edges and so messy that it looks like someone has tried to gut him in the most painful way possible. His face is as disfigured as his body, with various darkening marks. But that is not what makes Arganach so horrifying. It is his eyes, littered all across his scarred body, pale and sightless yet intense in their scrutiny. Some of them are slotted in what looks like gouged out flesh, with thick scar tissues as their lids. Those eyes don't see, and Arganach is blind, but dragons can't help the chill down their spine and the feeling of being watched whenever Arganach is in vicinity. Those coupled with his sharp, seemingly brittle crystalline wings, Arganach's form draws attention like no other sight. He is, as Bataghar aptly describes him, "a grotesque beauty." |

If it weren't for their temporary truce, he would have liked to tear him off. The smell wafting from his mane was unbearable. Almost nauseating. "It is almost time." He said instead. The mana flowing under the castle had become erratic. It would have filled up the circuits on the walls, glowed through the seams of the floor and bathed the room in blue. He had seen it once before, when his eyes hadn't lost their sight. Now the castle was just an empty place, its beauty and machinery without witness. This hall, the sunlit corridors down the stairs and the city below, glowing gold in the light of the sun. Elunore before him... and its downfall. "We've outlived the Realm," the Worm laughed. "Seems like we haven't outlived this city yet. Let us go, Angelus Machina," "The golems will wake soon," "And after that... the shrine..." |
