Biography
"We must move the Clan," Loki snarled at the elders, his eyes focused on their leader. "The plague is spreading, I've seen the damage it can do. It is a slow and painful way to perish."
Loki grew up among the gems and crystals of a large cave system. It did not contain a normal Clan, but instead of many family units that could work together if needed.
A disease, simply known as The Plague, spread through the cave just as he reached adulthood. The colony rarely spoke to outsiders so little was known about the disease and it's fatal properties. Loki and Korra, his childhood friend, helped aid those who contracted the disease. But all who fell ill died within days.
One by one the dragons died, some wailing in agony, blood dripping from beneath their scales, others fell unconscious and never awoke.
An elder dragon approached Loki and Korra, two young dragonlings following behind her. She insisted they leave the cave with the youngsters. Loki argued, wanting to try and save any he could, plus he had never been beyond the cave. Eventually Korra convinced him that the colony would not survive without outside help.
Loki left the caves with a heavy heart, none of them speaking of the fact they all knew. They would never see the dragons they left behind again.
After a season of exploring, and many clans turning them away as rumours of The Plague had spread, they found a clan that took them in. Loki found it hard to adjust to the more rigid life within a clan, more outspoken than other dragons his age and frustrated at how every dragon obeyed the orders of the leader without question. He slowly learnt how to act, learning when to speak and with what words.
Four seasons after leaving the caves news of The Plague reached his new clan. It was spreading, wiping out many clans and causing others to flee.
