Biography
-dancer
Michael, for all his flitting about and jumping too and fro, had few things precious to him. His mate, Gwynth. His job, dancing. His close friend, Cosmos. And finally, his jewelry. It may seem like a vain thing to hold close to him, but each and every piece of metal and stone draping from his body was precious to him. His matching gold necklace and bracelets, his bangles that hoop in his wing, the cuff in the membrane attached to the forearm of his wing, the small pendant hanging from his tail, the small pearl ring around the middle talon of his left paw. They were all precious to him. They were his gifts. The ring, from Gwynth. The bracelets, necklace, and wing cuffs from Cosmos. The tiny hoops from his familiar. And the small gleaming citrine attached to the gold band around his tail, from his first love. The others who had given them to him would disappear, but the gifts, the shimmering gold and jewels, would stay forever. And that was something solid and sturdy for him to hold onto. The others...they would and had left. So it was better to not care and hold his jewelry even closer to his heart. So they would never truly leave. And with that, Michael could be happy.
