?????? ━━━━━━━━━ FL/GHT Medic + Data Host Xozzem was once a well-known mechanics professor at a small Lightning university. He was even known as a king to a select few of his students - all as part of an elaborate in-joke spawned from one very specific lecture, and as most jokes do...it stuck. His body shimmered and glimmered like the copper cogs and parts he worked with ever so diligently. But as he has aged, he fell to the same fate as his parents. The pearlcatcher's scales tarnished, and so did the membranes on his wings. All he has left now is his glittery white belly to remind him of his older, shinier days. He doesn't let it get to him much, though, as he insists that "a dragon's worth reflects not his scales, but his soul." It's that sort of mentality that keeps him as a functioning dragon in a clan. Xozzem still does his mechanical tinkering (for if he couldn't he'd go insane!), and is always trying to get Sursal to let him look at her Golem. That said, Xozzem's a pretty effective tinkerer. He seems to specialize in de-rusting all sorts of things, and strengthening the older metals. His claws are as diligent as they ever were before he got all tarnished, and his gaze is just as useful. |

Of course, his retirement to a somewhat unknown clan in the middle of Earth territory wasn't going to last long. It all changed one day when he was met on his daily walk with a gruesome sight - a skydancer, twitching helplessly on the ground. He moved as fast as his old claws could carry him, and soon discovered that something had happened to them...and that this dragon wasn't as organic as they seemed. Xozzem quickly set to work on repairs, having called in members of the clan's gathering team to help carry the injured android back into their lair. He made them swear to silence on what they had done that day, and then began his work. After returning the dragon to an operational state, he began to pressure them on what went wrong and what they were even doing in the first place. They introduced themself as Denzel, a member of FL/GHT - an organization seeking to free android dragons from the oppressive control of a corporation known as Project. That was about all Xozzem needed to hear to know he'd found a new purpose in life. After all, as a Lightning dragon, his life's work was never truly over. He pressured Denzel to permit him into their group, offering his services as a repair worker for any dragons in the area in need of help or a simple diagnostics check. Between letting him in, and helping to set up his workspace again, the two became fast friends, and are almost inseparable. |
