I walk toward the main door of the Dark Lord’s lair past all of his frightened darklings. They take no heed to me because with my black cloak, I look just like one of them. Once I get to the door, I stop and summon my powers. Before I go in, I bring darkness upon the Dark Lord by absorbing all the light in his chamber unto myself. “Be afraid Dark Lord, for this darkness is void of light so not even you can see within it.”

I enter the room and shut the door behind me. There is silence. “Tis thou,” the Dark Lord whispered. “The one I created out of the ashes. Thou art supposed to be my advocate and obey only me. I order thou to reverse this impenetrable darkness!”
“No,” I answered calmly. “You have made my life miserable. There is nothing you can do to stop me.”
“How can this be? I am the darkness!”

As I gathered up the energy within me, I spoke with increasing rage, “Because out of the darkness comes a new kind of fire. Its flame can never die, and the only soul able to withstand its blaze is Fire Bringer, the one who controls it.” With that, I released the flames and sent a fiery tornado directly towards the Dark Lord. The last thing he saw before he disappeared into a puff of smoke was the satisfaction in my red eyes.
