Biography

CHILD OF THE GATEKEEPER

Naomi > Willow > Glitch > Maxim > Me!

QUEEN OF THE DEAD

A dark, often silent creature, Morsa is a descendant of the Gatekeeper, Naomi. While rumours abound over Naomi's true purpose, whether that be overseer of those Exalted, a Shade-Touched monstrosity, or something else entirely, Morsa's existence doesn't help matters.

Morsa's domain in the clan is death.

She buries the dead, administers last rites, and makes sure the remains of Imperials are cremated, so their curse never threatens others. Out of all of The Syzygy, no one is more trusted with these crucial tasks than her. No matter her mysteriousness - or possible strange powers - she can carry out these rituals far better than anyone else, and so the clans' twin Gods trust her implicitly.

However, no one has died in a good few years. So for now she hones her claws in the Coliseum, her goal to be strong enough to assist in training The Syzygy's retinue of spies. After all, she already is in charge of making sure the members of the clan properly go to their Deities in their death. Why not make sure everything goes well for those of their own who would risk themselves to spy on the Dragon Gods, in the guise of being the Exalted, as well?

"Plague flight? Pah. Their 'death' is just an extant form of life. Preaching that they are the inheritors of extinction is all well and good, as the fester recycles what rots... But true death? That comes to all, in the end."

"Even them."
