______ Found in the Plaguelands as a mere hatchling, just one look at him and Rose could feel it. The danger he could bring... This baby could, if under the wrong hands, destroy everything they stood for and more. She was araid for a moment, but looking into his eyes she saw the kindness of a baby, the innocent stare that anyone could love. And so persuaded, she brought him into the clan, when they were still very new. Many of the residents resisted, but a mere look from Izroul shut them down- Rose was going to raise him as her own, Shade-Touched or not.

______ Time marched on like a soldier to the drums, and Caedis has certainly shown the marks of his caretaker's upbringing. He is a kind, thoughtful young wyrm, fiercely loyal to his friends and his found family. Though, still, any mage can feel it; The Shade surges in his very soul, like a rip current in calm waters. Rumors have circulated of his parts in a prophecy, and Cloud and Rose have recently confirmed those rumors; But is he really ready to face the Mother of Emporers, or will the Shade take over in the most dire of times? He can only hope he will be prepared...
