Biography
Twilight gazed at the stars above. They looked like tiny gems scattered across the night sky. Somewhere from the east, the sun was rising, casting its brilliant, golden rays across the crystalline mountain range, illuminating all the peaks and valleys.
Her clan had wondered why she spent countless nights staring up at the sky. How she was able to go peacefully stargazing all night yet be her energetic, optimistic self in the morning. She would never respond, instead simply smiling at them and moving on.
One night, Twilight was out again, mesmerized by the beauty of the stars. Back in the freezing land of the Southern Icefield, the clouds had covered everything. How terrible it was for the clouds to try and hide something so beautiful, she thought.
As she moved her thoughts away from the chill of her former home, she continued staring upwards at the endless, vast, sea of stars. Suddenly, a small white shape streaked past.
Alarmed, Twilight sat up, looking around. Was it a comet? A shooting star? Should she make a wish? As she pondered the possibilities and was prepared to sit back down, a quiet, clean voice spoke.
"May I join you?" asked Icegem, his pale eyes so similar to hers glancing down at the ground, as if he was embarrassed by the question.
She didn't know how to respond, so she just nodded. The two of them laid down, both of them gazing up at the galaxy that was once obscured by an endless array of gloom.
