Firebrand

Firebrand's meaning is a person who is very passionate about a cause, or a piece of burning wood. Maybe Firebrand's parents had a vague understanding of her personality as soon as the Wildclaw had climbed out of her shell. Maybe that's why they chose the name 'Firebrand'.

Firebrand cares a lot about her Clan. She tend to be very shouty, as some dragons might say, when a stranger says something bad about her Clan, whether acidentally or purposely. She stands up for Ysbraviar, her flames protecting the Clan from dangers.

Yet if someone is lost, if someone left the world, Firebrand is very, very fragile. Shrieks. Cries. Like a piece of wood set on fire, burning, screaming in pain and agony. Everyone who knows her stays away when she is grieving.

Not everyone is certain that she has a connection with the Fire Goddess. Firebrand is passionate, intense, temperamental, yes, but how often do you see one true to the Fire Flight cry? Others defend, others offend, and when it comes to her, Firebrand will just watch. Her fiery yet cold Fire eyes observing the dragons with a wisp of the deity watching them too.

• No, that's not a ghastcrown, that's her welder's mask! So what if it happens to be shaped like one, look a lot like one, and glow in an almost sinister way? Firebrand will always insist that it's a welder's mask.
