Biography
Amu
• Sentient curse

There are curses and spells that should not be used, ever. Not just because of their devastating power, but also because overusing them may create a being who’s only purpose is destruction- an unkillable entity capable of ripping clans to shreds, who can wipe out armies in a blink of an eye, but won’t do it for its enjoyment, because it cannot feel anything.
It can percieve the mortal fear of others though, and for many entities it can be all they ever know before someone inevitably finds a way to rid the world of these beings.
Amu was lucky, in that regard.
They had been created from forbidden magic, were planning to start their path of destruction when an entity far older than them intervened. The older being managed to distract the destructive being with something else: The dream of any thrill seeker- a life filled with blood-pumping, highly dangerous events that could have potentially killed dragons, but never Amu.
But excitement could only do so much, and after hundreds of years Amu’s original ‘purpose’ became more and more apparent, at which point, the older being had to call in another far older, wiser being, who gave the other a very strange piece of advice.
To do the polar opposite.
Amu’s ‘life’ had been fast paced, highly dangerous and anything but plain. They had fought battles, reached the highest point in the world only to dive straight back down to ocean level and done many, many more extremely dangerous things. But the entity had never experienced completely normal things, not did they know about more mundane matters.
And luckily for everyone involved, they were absolutely fascinated by normal, boring, everyday things.
Not only did this make any future world-ending shenanigans from this particular entity unlikely, it also made it so that there was always someone who was excited for ‘boring’ things like chores.
What fascinates the entity most however, is the marketplace, and auction house.
...Or rather, how things are being delivered from one place to another.
The entity can spend days patiently waiting for things he send to his own address- one which was shared with other beings like him- and whenever something arrives he sends something else. It’s a never-ending cycle that may seem boring or pointless to others, but hell will be unleashed on the day the couriers stop delivering mail.
