Bertus' wings tucked our children, I compensated joining in, but decuded to settle in my usual chair, stroking my dearest Carpenter, its silent buzz reacting to it's master.

While Nightdanger did a lot to start the clan she is not without flaws. She feels entitled to command and deems the first stones she laid as important enough to rest on them. Bertus tries to snap her out of it by showing her what family means, with their first two, then the third adopted child. Bertus trjed his best in raising Zubits and Lavender, while Nightdanger hushed them to achieve maximum goals.
She is kind of oblivious how her over controlling nature harms others. This is the reason to as why Bertus and Nightdanger nowadays live a bitaway from the beach territory to let their CLAN thrive and grow into something beautiful on its own.

I really need to work on this character. I don't want to hate her but she reminds me of someone despicable
