Biography

When it comes to drawing, I have about as much talent as a waterlogged sock. I can, however, make simple, silly little characters like the ones showcased below. I call 'em "Dot Friends" and I think they're kind of cute. I thought maybe some of you folks would too so I went ahead and set up this hidden little shop.

Boring but important: The Rules

No one likes rules but they're important. Please take the time to read them before you post!

If you're a friend, please scroll all the way down as there's special rules just for you ~~gremlins~~.

-Please keep my mediocre talent in mind when you place an order.
-1 order per person, 1 character per order. You're more than welcome to claim another spot after I'm done with your order, though!
-If the slots are full, wait for them to open up before placing an order. I'm aware that 3 isn't a lot but I've never offered that kind of service before and I don't want to overwhelm myself. Orders placed after the slots are closed will be disregarded though you're free to post them again once I reopen slots.
-I may add or tweak rules as needed so please do check them over every once in a while to be sure nothing has changed since your last visit! That also means that even if someone asked for something in the past, it doesn't mean that I'm offering it at the moment.
-Please credit me and all that common sense stuff you've read ten thousand times. If you ever decide to put these silly things in your toyhouse, my username there is Decaf.

On to the fun stuff: Ordering your Dot Friend!

I sell these little fellows for the very random price of PWYW (pay what you want). So long as you send me something - be it 1t, an item or anything else, I'll make you a friend. I have a preference for my Trade List Items but really, anything will do; I'm keenly aware I'm not exactly selling masterpieces after all!

To order your very own Dot Friend, place an order by sending me a CR (NOT pm) containing the form below and the payment. I'll mark you down for a spot as soon as I see your message. I won't accept it until your order is finished. I will cancel your CR if all my slots are full.

I added a little guide below so that you know what to expect should you "leave the details up to me". That same guide can also help you design your new friend and even lets you know what can be added for free!

Dot Friend Ordering Guide

Colours: Default is white with back linework in a brush of my choice.
-Free add-ons: Specific linework look (fuzzy, clean, etc), any flat colour
-Textures?: Counts as a characteristic. I've never done textures before so the quality of your piece may vary greatly.
-Effects?: Same as above.
-Shading?: No, sorry.
-Backgrounds?: Same as above. I might be willing to try some extremely simple things so long as you understand that it will not be pretty (I mean compared to those already wonky doodles) and lengthen my turnaround significantly.

Characteristics:

Colours: Default is a solid colour.
-Possible add-ons: patterns, specific linework look (fuzzy, clean, etc)

Body shape: Default is 1 piece in the vague shape of a circle or oval.
-Free add-on: any 1 piece in any shape
-Possible add-on: Extra pieces (like bug abdomens), etc.

Limbs: Default is 2 legs.
-Free add-on: up to 2 arms, single flat colour
-Free add-on: less than 2 legs, single flat colour
-Possible add-ons: 3+ limbs, strange limb shapes/positions,
tentacles, wings, tongues, horns, etc

Eyes: Default is 2 line eyes.
-Possible add-ons: eye shapes, additional eyes, etc.

Mouths: Default is any mouth shape I think looks cute or none.
-Free add-on: Any simple mouth shape, single flat colour single flat colour
-Possible add-ons: Teeth (+ shape), tongues (+ shapes), etc

Ears/Head Thingamabobbers: Default is none.
-Free add-on: Up to one pair of simple thingamabobbers (straight ears,
straight unihorn, cow-like horns, etc)

Previously drawn dots: If you already have a Dot Friend you want me to draw again, I'm more than willing to do that
-Free add-on: Change of pose, change of lines
-Possible add-ons: Any change to the character beyond that, seasonal drawings, etc

Special rules for special gremlins

If you're not a personal friend, then don't worry about this section; it doesn't apply to you (but you can still read it if you'd like, of course).

So you're probably here hoping to use this to circumvent the "no yeet" rule. Nice try, but I have some special rules for you guys:

Current project: Bippy

-Please don't comission me just for yeeting's sake. I get no joy from working on drawings that aren't really wanted in the first place; in facts, it bums me out quite a lot.
-Currency will be accepted but it'll all be invested in furthering my current project.
-Genes will be accepted but unless they are needed in my project, they will be sold to fund it.
-Festival skins will be accepted but UMAs will be sold for -you guessed it- funding my durrent project.
-Familiars on my trades list will be accepted but those that aren't are going to go on a magical trip to the auction for the same reasons as everything else.
-Battlestones will be sold (except maybe for rallies)
-Apparel will be accepted.
-Baldwin/swipp mats will be accepted.
