Although Ikae appears to be from Sornieth, from his mannerisms to his knowledge of Sornieth's history, he comes an alternate timeline, Thesiron. Ikae was a longtime member of The Clanhome, taken in as a baby Guardian. As he grew older, he studied time control under Qumoa. His powers even surpassed hers, allowing him to travel to alternate timelines and dimensions.

In Thesiron, Ikae's friends and family described him as loyal, caring, and thoughtful. He would do anything for his loved ones, even if it meant sacrifice or breaking the laws. However, despite all of that, he had no control over the apocalyptic events that befell Thesiron and his home. Although he feels great pain in his loss, his aim is to help his clan in Sornieth and prevent a similar fate.

Ambrose reminds Ikae of the Ambrose he knew from Thesiron... that was the reason he made sure to seek her out and guide her towards become the clan leader.

Tabor is Ikae's love interest. In Thesiron, Tabor was lost in the battle against Endural and the darkness. Is it wrong for Ikae to pursue Tabor from this timeline?

Around the time when Ikae reached the age of young adulthood, the evil that had been imprisoned by Meymoon so long ago broke free and sought to wreak havoc upon the world of Thesiron (Sornieth's alternate world). In Ikae's timeline, servants of the darkness plotted and murdered the mortalized Meymoon in her sleep. Without the aid and knowledge of the once-goddess to guide The Clanhome, Ikae's world had become overridden by turmoil and conflict.

Despite countless efforts to travel back in time and prevent this tragedy, he was unsuccessful each and every time. It seemed he could not change the course of events. Saddened, he nearly gave up hope. It would be some time later before he learned of a way that he could save his clan, but it would involve travel outside of his own timeline. He would have to venture to a clan neardly identical to his own. He would need their assistance in destroying the evil and erasing it from all timelines. But traveling out of one's timeline comes with consequences...

It has been strange for Ikae, seeing members of The Clanhome that look and act like his friends and family from home. Some look identical. Some differ in small ways like in the color of their hair or eyes. Others bear stark physical contrasts, even so far as being a different breed of dragon entirely. The most notable difference is in the color of fire produced by dragons. Here, dragons produce a red-orange flame. Back in Ikae's world, dragons produce a blue or green flame.

In terms of Ikae's personal life, he has developed a close bond with Tabor since his arrival in Sornieth. Ikae's Tabor lost his life in the war against the evil. Ikae feels unsure about furthering this seemingly new relationship, even though the two are very much alike and Ikae feels strongly for this other Tabor. He worries that if he continues with his emotions, this love interest could cause irreversible and irreparable changes to not only his own timeline, but to many others as well. Due to this, Ikae has refrained from revealing the entire truth of his real name, where he comes from, and why he is here now.
