Oak
It's hard to comprehend that Oak is not the oldest in the clan. The only other dragon who believes this fact is Ash himself, and only because they traveled from their home clan together to join Garra'folach in its formative years. The two were close then, and are close now, regarding each other as brothers. It's their own little inside joke that Ash is somehow the older of the two of them.
Where Ash pursued the spellcasting side of intellect and learning, Oak immersed himself in historical texts of the deities and past conflicts between flights, and holds a near encyclopedic knowledge most regard as otherworldly. He delights in research (whether it shows in his expression or not), and has no qualms traveling as far as he needs to obtain the knowledge he wants.
Oak is not an expressive dragon, despite his warm and gentle personality. As a result, his stoicism can often be off-putting or intimidating to those who do not know him. He highly values eye contact with whomever he speaks to, and will stare intensely at them while he listens. He does this a lot, listening. He doesn't feel a need to volunteer his voice often unless etiquette demands it or his input is requested. Instead, he often prefers companionable silence with dragons who will let him study quietly by their side.
