Biography
I named him Indiana after Indiana Jones, but he's not a fandragon! Also he was born during FR's 5th Anniversary so that's pretty neat :3 He's also a 4-off-XYX.
Indiana is a refugee of sorts, choosing the Lair of Many References as a temporary hideout whilst the heat from his latest 'exploit' wears off (he managed to purloin and hatch an egg containing a rare avian specimen of the ocular variety and angered many poachers in the ensuing chase). An archeologist by trade, Indiana has an inbred sense of adventure, and a healthy immune system to boot! He enjoys exploring the Lair on a regular basis, digging up patches of dirt here and there to find evidence of anything sellable (much to everyone's distaste since no one is fond of him). Indiana is cunning and quick-witted, and thus those who know of Alduin's existence try to keep him out of the loop. Capone too is unaware of the archeologist's existence...which is a good thing because he'd try to steal the bird AND sell Indiana out or attempt to get him under his thumb. On one of his earliest adventures, Indiana touched a mysterious artefact in a tomb he was excavating and it morphed him into the brown-hued Pearlcatcher you see before you today. The progens are considering hiring him to do some menial fieldwork around Sexton's residence, but for the most part he's freelance/not aligned with any Lair faction. What he lacks in integrity however he makes up for in dedication and passion for his line of work.
He has a little hanger-on in Wanderer. The kid has spunk sure but Indy really doesn’t need ANOTHER sidekick right now. If he were to take her under his wing, it'd be expected of him to teach her how to be a proper archeologist, with more care and respect for the craft than he deems himself able to give. Though, she does come in handy for fitting into small spaces...

The character is distinguished by his appearance (bullwhip, fedora, satchel and leather jacket), sense of humor, deep knowledge of many ancient civilizations and languages, and fear of snakes.
Since his first appearance in Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones has become one of cinema's most famous characters. In 2003, the American Film Institute ranked him the second greatest film hero of all time. He was also named the 1st Greatest Movie Character by Empire magazine. Entertainment Weekly ranked Indy 2nd on their list of The All-Time Coolest Heroes in Pop Culture. Premiere magazine also placed Indy at number 7 on their list of The 100 Greatest Movie Characters of All Time.

Dr. Henry Walton "Indiana" Jones Jr. is the title character and protagonist of the Indiana Jones franchise. George Lucas created the character in homage to the action heroes of 1930s film serials. The character first appeared in the 1981 film Raiders of the Lost Ark, to be followed by Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom in 1984, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles from 1992 to 1996, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in 2008. The character is also featured in novels, comics, video games, and other media. Jones is also featured in several Disney theme parks, including the Indiana Jones Adventure, Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril, and Epic Stunt Spectacular! attractions. Jones is most famously portrayed by Harrison Ford and has also been portrayed by River Phoenix (as the young Jones in The Last Crusade) and in the television series The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles by Corey Carrier, Sean Patrick Flanery, and George Hall. Doug Lee has supplied the voice of Jones for two LucasArts video games, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis and Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, David Esch supplied his voice for Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb, and John Armstrong for Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings. |
