It's not that she's harsh, per se, she just has no sense of discretion. She's blunt. Direct. Tactless even. Probably the most unintentionally undiplomatic dragon in the lair. She means well. She's actually a very nice when you get to know her, she just doesn't seem to know when to keep thoughts to herself. She was honestly trying to help by telling Remmirath that "there's nothing to be scared of" while he was in the middle of an anxiety attack, never once considering that this might be insensitive. She doesn't understand why loudly asking, in a crowed corridor mind you, if Matheon's rash had cleared up, might be construed as impolite. She was simply concerned. And it never crossed her mind that outright asking Ambarion "do you ever bathe, or do you just buy stock in Old-Book scented cologne?" might just embarrass the old geezer. There are very few members of the clan that she hasn't insulted, one way or another. The only one who seems to appreciate her candid comments is Scáth and he's really not much better. Consequently, she doesn't have many friends. But the few who can look past her plain-spoken frankness (or are not easily offended) will describe her as loyal and dependable. Tireless with a good work ethic and eager to lend a helping hand in any situation. Stratus swears by her maps as being the most accurate in all of Sornieth. Tang always consults her geographic knowledge for his building projects. Even Malfae has learned to to get her okay before starting a new tunnel, much to the appreciation of our miners. All in all, she's a very appreciated and respected member of our clan. Even if a little... difficult. |
