While his dark appearance may be rather offputting, Nirin is a gentle being with a kind heart. He hates seeing dragons hurt because of other's selfishness, and strives do do good in the world. He can be a bit self-righteous though, and while generally a logical thinker his feelings can get in the way. Scars are hidden beneath some of his dark clothing, remnants of fights he just couldn't stay out of.

His magic is unusual. Some have nicknamed him Frostbite due to the affect it has on others. It's so cold it burns, and for those truly unlucky can actually cause a nasty frostbite. He speculates it has something to do with the fluid in his body. Perhaps a result of his strange ability, Nirin is noticeably colder to the touch than many dragons. It is not recommended you touch his underside either.
