Calling the Clan's garden his home, Sylva is seldom seem wandering too far from its greenery. Having dedicated his youth to the study of botany, he has been assigned the task of growing a portion of the Clan's supply of plant-based food, and he takes his job incredibly seriously, acutely aware of the responsibility weighing down on his small shoulders. His true passion however lies with the flowers. So soon as he is sure the vegetables and fruits are taken care of, he turns his attention to the colourful blossoms, eager to see his hard work rewarded with their beautiful blooms and sweet scents. Most of the flowers in their garden were planted single-handedly by Sylva, and though his current collection is rather humble, it is ever-growing as he gets his hands on new types of buds and even tries to breed new kinds himself. Although not particularly quiet, he is often so immersed in his work that he gives the impression of being distant or aloof, whereas in truth he is simply enjoying a peaceful time among the flora. The moment one speaks with him however, it is easy to see the youthful nerves dancing in his eyes. He is especially nervous around Vincio, the Clan leader who assigned him his job, and most other highly-ranked Clan members, convinced he is nowhere near as reliable as these experienced dragons. His self-doubt makes him shy around them, and all the more unwilling to break any rules. This is one of the reasons Sylva refuses to go along with his best friend's antics, choosing to lecture and remind her why all of her innovative ideas are usually bad. More than that, he is a responsible dragon by nature, and is too protective over his home to feel the need to leave it and seek adventure. His delicate-seeming self should not be underestimated: if one threatens his garden, he won't hesitate to fight for it. He extends the same courtesy to those he considers dear to him, quietly keeping an eye out in case they ever need him. Other than Camille, he is especially fond of Myrtem, a dragon in a similar position to Sylva: young, assigned a tough job of spying and scouting, and equally as nervous about it all. Sylva caught Myrtem visiting the garden at night once, and though he was angry at first, he quickly learnt of the Mirror's own troubles and how the garden soothed him. Over time, the two grew closer and Myrtem started bringing back unusual types of flowers from his expeditions, ones that couldn't be found in their territories, allowing Sylva's collection to expand beyond what he had ever imagined.

 although he sometimes finds camille's presence overbearing, she is his best friend and he will stick by her side through thick and thin.  more than any of his superiors, sylva admires tiny the most as she never ceases to amaze him with her expertise and knowledge of plant-life.  myrtem's own nervous disposition somehow calms sylva, who is able to be his pillar of stability. whenever the mirror comes back from his travels, sylva finds himself giddy at the thought of seeing him again. |
