An extravagant philosopher, Eclipsis believes himself to be blessed by the Lightweaver herself to seek knowledge. Thus, he came to the Tangled Wood in order to further his ponderings in peace. Being a light dragon in the Shadowbinder's territory is a hard task, as the Light flight is often painted in a negative light in the Tangled Wood. He decided to stay with Shade's clan for now, hoping that one day, his efforts to reach enlightenment will pay off. However, if he must stay in the clan, he must contribute one way or another. Eclipsis shows excellent craftsmanship, and thus, he showcases his artwork through the decorations he has placed around the clan since he joined it.

Eclipsis nodded. "You're right; it is both hard and enlightening."

He stood in silence, his serpentine body curled around the branch he was perched on before finally giving an answer. "In the Sunbeam Ruins, many Light dragons believe Shadow dragons to be outright malicious in nature, always looking for a chance to do something terrible to one of our own. With their magic, they could easily cover up any wrongdoings, so for the most part, we didn't trust them. For a Shadow dragon living in a Light clan, it takes a lot of time to gain everyone's trust. And even then, there could be some dragons that still do not trust you.

"As it turns out, the opposite is true in the Tangled Wood. Many Shadow dragons are distrusting of Light dragons, and one must endure the same trials to gain a Shadow clan's trust. It is here that I learned that not all Shadow dragons are malicious - most of the time, they only want to play a simple trick on you, or even participate in their games. Which can be tiring as I pursue my studies. But I know they mean no harm now.

"Considering I have been in my clan for a very long time, I have the trust of nearly everyone now. It is primarily the newer members that don't trust me." At the mention of his god's name, Eclipsis's eyes practically lit up--or they would, if he wasn't wearing a veil. He lifted his neck, trying his best to look imposing to the imperial.

"Why wouldn't I trust her? She is the god I have followed ever since I was a hatchling. Out of all the Eleven, she rises above them all. It is through my devotion that I got to where I am today, and I am sure that one day, she will lead me back home. I don't know when that will be, but it is why I must continue seeking all the knowledge in the world."

"Though, I do like it here. It's quiet and dark...perfect for meditation. Yet, it's been so long since I last saw the sun. I miss it, but I can't afford to go back now. The Lightweaver is counting on me."
