Elora

Magus circled around the pile of hatchlings with various bright markings seemingly sticking out from nowhere in the mass of black. He flicked his tongue out at each of them individually until he came upon Elora, to which he nudged slightly with his snout.

"Yeah, they're all fine.. except that one. Its been over two weeks since these guys hatched and she doesn't seem to have grown an inch. What's the deal?" He said, glancing back at the other mass of black behind him.

"Don't say it like it's a bad thing. You know they all grow at their own paces. And even if she doesn't grow anymore than an inch, why is that such a bad thing? There's such a thing as Fae's who are already smaller than newly born Imperial's, Guardians.." The mass hummed, curling her tail around Elora letting the Spiral dangle and find its own balance on its own.

Magus snorted, turning away from her and the pile of hatchlings to walk off into the dark, the glimmer of his own markings shimmering off in the dense tree foliage.

The mass shook its head, forming her body to mimic that of Elora and twisted herself around in a giant circle, watching Elora try to find its balance again.
