Lucifer is the King of Clan Pitfall. He prides himself on his warrior status, a role few Dragon Kings take on due to a sense of entitlement. Such Kings are seen as cowards by Lucifer, who never hesitates in fighting tooth and claw. To add to his unconventional behavior as a Dragon King, he absolutely refuses to dress in traditional royal garb, and instead chooses to wear his battle armor when making public appearances. His fearsome appearance simultaneously attracts and frightens, so Lucifer has never had a long-term mate - though he has had several dalliances. A devout and dedicated follower of his fiery deity, he often has a hard time trusting dragons from other flights, and any dragon wishing to join the clan must prove their loyalty before they are officially accepted.

Lucifer desires to keep his clan safe by maintaining stringent policies that cause the clan to be more isolated than most others and requiring battle training of all able dragons. This, coupled with his uncontested strength and notoriously short temper, gave rise to the clan's name: a seemingly small group that can hold its own against any foe.
