Biography
Water summoner. Keeps the clan hydrated and is paid handsomely for her services.
Her jug works because of a crystal deep inside the Leviathan Trench that absorbs the water around it. She says this is a blessing from the Tidelord himself, and in return, she must take care of the Spirit of Water that keeps the connection between her trinket and the crystal alive. While losing her power won't be the end of Ashes's clan, it's certainly appreciated by the folk around since the water is fresher and colder than the water transported from the borders of the Ashfall Waste.
She has a huge soft side for water hatchlings dealing with the heat of the Ashfall Waste. Many have survived the heat because of her, but she doesn't plan on being a mother anytime soon.
Instead, her eyes are set on one dragon for a different purpose. Knowing his secret, she wishes to train Foraedor on how to control his hidden water abilities...to manipulate lava. She knows his special connection between fire and water will help him reach lengths no fire dragon has reached before. She gives strong emphasis on fire for him, because she wants him to know that no matter what, he belongs here, and eye color should not define who he is but open up possibilities for what he could be if he wanted to explore it.
So far, the liquid he controls has already begun to rise in temperature and have a much higher viscosity. Getting hit with his powers is almost as effective as getting hit in the face with a clothing iron. This progress has helped ease Foraedor's depression beyond his imagination. He wonders if he can admit it to Xavia one day...
After all of this though, you might be wondering: Where did the crystal truly come from? Well, in the end, it's not exactly a crystal itself, but a core. One of the four Cores of Atlantis that were lost when the city fell. Blademaw has made it his mission to protect the ruins of Atlantis, and with that, he seeks the locations of the cores that may help to rebuild his home.
Xavia knows where one is because she uses it for her endless water jug. She was once a scavenger long ago that'd sell wares and trinkets like this from places many wouldn't dare to enter. Despite those days being over, she still profits off of this with the use of that crystal core. She doesn't want to admit to it since her morals have changed, but she doesn't know how else to contribute to the clan with her now peaceful lifestyle. She doesn't want to be known as a vulture anymore.
And yet, Blademaw cares for none of this. Once his spirit came across her powers and her tales of her crystal, it couldn't contain the sheer rage. He blamed her for the death of his home, his family, his people, and lunged at her with his sword.
She dodges, he follows, chaos around them. She didn't know. She couldn't have known. He misses again, but she hits a wall. She's trapped. The angered spirit demands to have her jug, but she stalls. Her life in this clan depended on it. She needed to be useful. She couldn't go back.
With that, his sword came down, ready to steal the criminal into his world.
...
Nothing happens.
Xavia opens her eyes to something beautiful. A fellow spirit, guardian of the clan, holds the blade inches away from Xavia's cowering form. She goes by the name Lindithere. While some would say she's a reaper, she was often hailed as the embodiment of comfort over one's passing. Her work to soothe the living and dead alike made her a hero to the people around, and this only solidified that in Xavia's eyes.
Lindithere found her worthy of mercy.
