Purity - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - m a g e Purity grew up deep in the Gladeveins, alongside her two sisters and her parents. Her entire family was born there except for her father. Her father came from the Scarred Wasteland, and bore the striking red eyes Nature dragons abhor so much. Despite what you may believe, her father is a peaceful dragon, without an ounce of magic in his body. He means no harm to the Veridian Labyrinth or its inhabitants, but most couldn't care less. Everywhere he went, Nature dragons would shout rude things at him, refuse him service, and so on. Now, everyone knows that no hatred is strong than that shared between Nature and Plague, but Purity slowly began to notice similar action between other dragon. Light and Shadow, Fire and Ice, Arcane and Lightning, the list went on. Purity couldn't understand why they were fighting so much, how they could possibly hate another dragon that much. And so, when her mother and her sister left the clan to protect the innocent, Purity left to try to bring peace. It's a tall order, especially for one dragon, but if it meant her father could actually go to a festival in the Labyrinth, if it meant that borders wouldn't be so strict and maybe dragons would stop hating each other, then Purity would spend the rest of her life making it happen. As she was leaving, she shared her concerns about not being enough to change anything with her father. He, of course, reassured her by saying "One voice is enough when no one is talking, my dear. You are amazing, and your mother, your sister, and I all believe in you." and giving her a small parting gift from him. Purity and her father write letters back and forth, where Purity shares stories of her travels and confides her insecurities to him. This is Purity's story. "You can only watch injustice go on for so long until you're compelled to say something. Dear Dad,
I hope you and Reverence are okay back at the clan. I've made it to the edge of the Labyrinth, and I'm staying at an inn near one of the ports. I'm ready for this, I just hope I can actually do something. I've broken up a couple fights so far, but neither side seemed to happy about it. I know one voice is enough, but I hope I find someone with similar beliefs soon.

Dear Dad,
It's been some time since I've been available to write, and not to worry you but I had suffered a bad fall, injuring my wing. I have been unable to fly while I recover, but luckily I am I'm travelling with a caravan. I had joined up with them to safely pass a large barren desert, there is safety in numbers and something dark had left it devoid of any life.

The Caravan provides me with shelter and food as long as I contribute, and I mostly help a witch out with her spells and late night potion brewing. Worry not dad, I am healing well and I promise to write soon.

Dear Dad,
Sorry again for the long wait between letters. I'm still doing well in my travels- I took some time to stay at Shroudhaven, a large city outside the Sunbeam Ruins. I've been on quite the journey! But it's been nice to simply relax and enjoy the coastal view for a little while. The rest has been helping my wing immensely, but I've kept it wrapped as It still aches some when I try to fly.

The local college that this city is known for is filled with dragons from all walks of life, and of all elements. I can't tell you how incredible it feels to find a place thriving from such diversity. There's a teacher here that reminds me of you... I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me miss home, but my journey has been well worth the home sickness. If anything my time here has only hardened my resolve to keep working towards my goal.

While I have no plans of trying to take the entrance exam, I've met a few students that have been more than happy to teach me a thing or two they've learned in their classes- one even gifted me a beautiful new journal to take with me! Hopefully my new notes and knowledge will help me on my adventure. Either way it's been well worth it.

If I'm lucky, my next update will be as inspiring as this one. Hope to write to you again soon
