Biography
" As they became, or will I teach the examples of their ghost. "
"Whatever you saw in the dream? It's gone now. It dies when you wake and it breathes with you, in the shadows, wherever you go, wherever you are. That's your face, your voice--you call it, you call it to life. You can't remember how it goes, how the dream goes. Hush, hush now. There are fragments in your teeth that sets there like the sun. Setting, setting, who you were back then. Who you'll never have to be.
So many in the business of coming and going, while I am simply trying to breathe..."
That was how the story went. She rose from nothing and memorized the lines in the sky. Whatever was left turned to dust by daybreak, scattered among winds; she collected it, picking silver from the pockets of space with her claws, with her teeth, watching the light settle in different directions. She held the dust close, dream dust, remnants of great and ancient things. Things settled in another world, in another time, where she could only go in sleep.
She put the planets in place. The moons, the belts of old, worn stones. Circling outer suns, ancient stars, new planes of imagination.
