[img]FAMILIAR[/img] 		tumblr_inline_nll482iWeL1qg2i5p_400.png Llanval, like most pearlcatchers, carries an air of superiority around her. Also like most pearlcatchers, it's entirely unjustified. To her credit though, she has a brilliant mind, but there's two types of intelligence: book smart and life smart. Llanval has spent so much of her life buried under books, reading, collecting and analysing that most other basic skills and ideas are completely beyond her. Anything Llanval does try automatically makes her an expert at it, regardless of her success, not only because she is well-read on the subject, but simply because she has attempted it.

An enthusiast and practitioner of the arts, Llanval only does things for two reasons: spite and the aesthetic. She lives expensively, whether it be the decorations in her den, the food she eats or the adornments on her body. She flaunts them in front of the lesser dragons, openly mocking their poor taste and lifestyle. This attitude even extends to her mate Canirnys, and to her closest friend Daeni. They seem to accept it, as that's simply part of who she is, but Daeni will not-so-subtly give her a reminder when she starts going too far. In most situations, Llanval would much rather read or contemplate her tomes in peace, but if a battle rears it's head she proves that her magic is more than a match for even the most experienced foe.
