Zi

Most of the Nocturnes that lived in the dark woods were also dark in color, be it black or brown or gray or deep green. Coming from quite the vibrant family, Zi found it strange that some dragons took pride in their dark colors. She was proud of her bright reds and pinks and oranges, oblivious to the whispering that occurred behind her back.

Zi was like a beacon signaling supper to monsters in the dark woods; while playing with her darker friends one day, she would have been snatched by a Webwing if it weren't for the intervention of Noi, who was travelling the woods. Similar to the misunderstanding of Indigo and his out-of-sight family, Zi was taken in because she was thought to have been abandoned in the dark woods. It didn't bother her to make new friends.

Zi quickly fit into the rather bright-colored dragons of Juno's Clan, positive and kind to all. She grew close to the sole male Nocturne in the Clan (that is, until the arrival of their good friend Sol and the ambassador Okago), Phyleas, and took him as her mate. She knew the dark woods better than many in the Clan, so when it came to a patrol having to be made, Zi was chosen (along with Java and Ashe) to be part of it. When she wasn't defeating monsters and intruders in the woods, she was visiting her family and friends and still being the most colorful Nocturne there.
