[Greek mythology. Phaeacian princess who met the shipwrecked Odysseus when she was washing clothes on the shore. While she is presented as a potential love interest to Odysseus, nothing would result between the pair. It's a literary account of love never expressed, possibly one of the earliest examples of unrequited love in literature. The two of them part with Nausicaa saying "Never forget me, for I gave you life". Her name means burner of ships.]
