Lore concept.. er, idea:

Once an Elemental Knight of the Clan of Gemstones, Galactic served as the personal knight to the Lord and Lady; to where his loyalty laid purely for Lord Luut. His power matched only by the guard Windsong, the imperial is renown for his physical ice magic. Similar to the knight Kallai, Galactic fought with frozen tooth and claw, rather than mind. As an Elemental knight, his power was required to protect the deities of the Gemstone clan- even if it meant letting go of the prospect of spreading his genes and watching his own youth flourish.

However, this all changed upon the meeting with the Kingdom of Gemfyre, where an alliance was proposed and Galactic would serve as the sire to the nest tying Gemstone and Gemfyre together.
As much as her previous mate despised it, Cviera volunteered herself as the dam- and as a pair, they bore a nest of two within Gemfyre's boundaries. Upon their hatching, the two youthlings were separated- the son, Alatar, to Gemstone and the daughter, Caliera, to Gemfyre. While Alatar spent days knowing little besides the presence of his sire and shaman magiks, Caliera dealt with her stepfather's ignorance and her mother's adornment.

As time past, Galactic found that his desire for Cviera grew evermore heated by the day. The distance between him and the skydancer was unbearing to the elemental knight. Adonis, on the other hand, was angered by the presence of his half-blooded daughter. He held more than hell's worth of fiery for Cviera, who volunteered herself to nest with Galactic, even though she already had a wedded lover. It rose to the point to where Galactic's fondness for Cviera brought harm to a clan member during a casual hunt. The Lord, both displeased and worried for the elemental knight's well-being, forcibly sent Galactic to be with Cviera in Gemfyre.

The Lord traveled with Galactic to their ally's territory, where He pleaded with the monarch to allow Galactic to be reunited with Cviera- as He felt that was the only way possible to calm the elemental knight. Upon hearing this, Adonis- loyal to Cviera- attempted to physically force his half-blooded daughter and Galactic out of Gemfyre. To him, there was no way that these two could remain, as they'd get in the way of Cviera. However, the female monarch of Gemfyre would have none of it.

Flared by the imperial's attempt at sending away a bloodline that connected Gemfyre and Gemstone, she cut Adonis and Cviera's ties as mates and banished him from Gemfyre. The shiro, crushed by Aria's harsh roar, sorted his belongings and sought refuge outside of his former clan's territory. The Lord, feeling pitiful of the imperial, offered him a place in the Clan of Gemstones as his personal knight, as Galactic once had been. Adonis, having no other choice rather than rotting away, took up this chance and became Gemstone royalty. While one of the half-bloods laid there, Adonis did not straight up despise his step son. The two seldom interacted as he and his daughter did, but the imperial felt at peace with the shaman. If only the same could be said with Galactic and his daughter.
