Elvira

Elvira has to be careful in the arctics as the weather is none too kind to creatures her size. For that reason she often hitches rides on her more furry clanmates and nestles in their mane while giving them kindly advice. While she looks somewhat frail, she's known to have been a magical powerhouse back in the day, and she hasn't forgotten any of her spells. She's often approached when there's trouble that needs a magic solution. She likes working together with Tabby, the clan's main healer. The two complement each other's abilities with Tabby being skilled in healing (naturally) and strengthening other dragons and Elvira being better on the offense and in rallying. If the Scavengers' base is being threatened, these two are the first to stand up and defend it.

Upon Striker’s announcement that the clan would start building a more formidable fighting force, Elvira was one of the five dragons to offer her tutorship. As offensive magic is her specialty, it made sense for Trace to become her most prominent pupil. While coatl and fae are known to have difficulty communicating, they got along fine after the first few awkward lessons. Trace had studied various sciences back on the Shifting Expanse and knew a lot of technical things, but didn’t have much experience in putting her knowledge to action. Elvira came from a different school and had always relied on practice and intuition to get where she then was. Despite their different styles, that occasionally lead to heated arguments between them, Trace adopted the things she learned into her own way of working with magic. She learned to think outside the box, and become a better mage and strategist for it.
