Ronin

Shunned by his family because of his inability to run (thanks to his disfigured front legs), Ronin was born an outcast and remained one until he met Juno in the dark woods. She treated him like her son and took care of him with the help of Noi, and he loved them both very much, but it was the Gladekeeper's emissary that he owed his life (and his legs) to. With her special healing abilities and ample variety of medical supplies and herbs, he ran just a little slower than Sako, his Clanmate renowned for speed, in less than three days.

Ronin met Ashe and her sister Aonu in the dark woods; the sisters were both quite nervous, which was peculiar to the young Guardian, since they were wandering in the dark woods. But he assured them that he could bring them to a safe place.

When he introduced them to Juno and Noi, they immediately welcomed her and her sister to the Clan and praised Ronin for doing a good deed and helping those who needed it. He enjoyed praise, especially from the two dragons who raised him like their son.
