Malki | Clan Archivist
(Character dragon; full name Ceren Malki. Nonbinary, they/them. Aro/Ace. In-novel:

Occupation: Archivist / Historian / Librarian

Malki goes by their last name, having Feelings About Gender they're not fond of explaining. They changed their last name a while back. Malki is a history nerd, and blunt, with dry humor. This humor is hard to pull off in interspecies communication when you're a Fae, but Malki does it somehow. They come from the Light flight, renowned for its scholars. Malki feels no shame in embodying this archetype. Unfortunately, that did mean it was hard to find a spot in their field of study in the Sunbeam Ruins.
So Malki made their way to the Starfall Isles, and searched for a Clan in need of their skills. They also wanted a Clan well-versed in the humanities and arts. The clan, especially Marshbreeze, welcomed Malki and were keen on learning about archive work. As Clan Archivist, they sort and preserve documents, as well as chronicle the clan's exploits and history. At times, this family they chose annoys them with "stargazey magicking," but Malki would do anything to defend their friends.
