Sorcerer used to be a famous archmage who's name was known by many and his adventures spoken by legendary storytellers and hatchlings alike. He fought great, dangerous battles with other dragon mages and even the Shade itself. He personally knew every deity and was often going out on dangerous quests assigned by them. Sorcerer had everything but lost it all due to a horrible mistake and an evil Skydancer.

Sorcerer had a clan to live with and a mate who he loved, after finishing a quest, he would return home to them and occasionally celebrate. His mate was Enchantress, a beautiful, yet powerful Skydancer who often would accompany him on quests. One day, a great war broke out and Sorcerer was asked to assist one side. He asked Enchantress to come with and they fought side by side through most of the battle until they got separated and, when the battle ended, Enchantress was nowhere to be seen. Sorcerer returned home heartbroken and went to his room to be alone.

Sorcerer was unaware of this at the time, but there was another dragon who wanted him, but mostly for his magic, her name was Morgana, an evil Skydancer sorceress. Morgana came into Sorcerer's room and convinced him to move on and, within the week, they were mates. The two lived happily for a month or so, Morgana secretly plotting how to obtain Sorcerer's magic, when Enchantress came bursting through the door. Sorcerer was so overjoyed with her return that he forgot about Morgana and that got her mad. In an insane rush of emotion, Morgana stripped Sorcerer of his voice. Without it, he can't say the words for spell casting, he quickly left the clan, ashamed of what he had been reduced to and worried about what Morgana would do next.

All things heal with time including Sorcerer. Eventually, he found the Shadowblood clan and his curse started to wear off, but that's not the greatest thing to happen, eventually, Sorcerer got a message from Enchantress. The message revealed Morgana's plot and told him to never come back and to disguise your magic, for if he didn't, Morgana would succeed and there was no telling what she would do with that kind of power. Sorcerer took those words to heart and now barely ever speaks, for words are magic and if anyone found out the truth, his fate would be sealed, the archmage would fall.
