In the heat of the desert, textiles matter. So many visitors have the wrong idea - shedding layers to escape the heat, baring skin that soon burns red. Watching the locals makes it clear what they should do instead: as the sun rises higher, they don loose, flowing cotton; they drape delicate silks to shade their faces. More fabric, not less, but it has to be the right kind.

Much of it comes from Prisu’s shop. She spends her days weaving and sewing, crafting shawls and shirts, tunics and skirts - enough to clothe a clan. Only the most finicky and fashion-conscious in Shi’Kahr wear clothes she hasn’t touched, if only to mend if not to make, and what she can’t make herself she trades for from connections in other clans.
