Zenith

Fumes had the scrap hitched to his back as he slowly walked across the wasteland. With it being so heavy he was forced to walk the whole way back to the citadel. The beating sun was more annoying than the strain this weight put on his back, but it needed to be done. A shadow caught his attention, far bigger than any vulture or buzzard. Looking up, the Bogsneak watched in amazement as a beautifully colored spiral weaved his way across the sky. The creature ducked and weaved his way across the open sky, seeming to take delight in his own antics. He dropped off, folding his wings and coming dangerously close to hitting the ground before catching the updraft and rising again.

"Little Daredevil..." Fumes chuckled, taking a break to watch. He got a few more dips from the other before he guessed he was caught sight of. The spiral came barreling towards him, but Fumes wasn't scared after having seen him pick himself up so qu-!

The bogsneak grunted as the spiral slammed right into his chest. That with the combined weight on his back, Fumes tilted back and landed hard ontop of the scrape. A groan passed his lips as the muscles in his back finally seemed to give up, in too much pain to realize the spiral having jumped back up and was now fretting over him.

"Ohhhh! I am so so so sorry! You were a lot bigger than i thought! I-I-I misjudged the speed and - Blam! Gah, stupid stupid stupid!" Fumes finally pulled himself up and off the scrape, now realizing the spiral was blubbering at a mile a minute.

"Hey. WOah woah woah! Calm down! Yeah it hurt, but i'm okay, see?" Fumes turned his back to the other, a few scrapes but indeed okay. The spiral still fretted, gently touching the scrapes.

"Your hurt...." He spoke softly, guilt crossing his face. Fumes shrugged and without thinking said "I think I can die happy now, because I've just seen a piece of heaven." Both males went rigid, eyes blown wide. Fumes felt a trickle of sweat roll down his face.

"I'm....I'm sorry, what?"

"What?"

((Fumes proceeds to try and assure Zenith that he wasn't going to in fact die, that he knew the spiral wasn't from heaven, and he swears his pickup lines are ten times better than that lol))
