I’m eternally grateful that I left Dragonhome before I met this dragon. Last I heard, her mercenary band had successfully taken over Dinara’s princedom on behalf of that unification maniac and I haven’t heard much since.

I only know that the Queenmaker and her troupe, The Daybreakers, are famously skilled and expensive to hire, and the rumors that follow her are wild.

I’ve heard that she keeps a dreameater with her at all times to sense traitors within her band. I’ve heard that she slew a rampaging Guardian by beaning him on the head with her pearl. I’ve heard that she lost her pearl in a tragic accident and that she expresses her grief by ripping through her enemies with the raw fury of the Shadowbinder. I’ve even heard that she’s the legendary Melain incarnate.

Whatever she is, I’m burning with curiosity. I’ve kept a listening ear out for a while know, and haven’t heard anything beyond wild speculation. No Clan, no family, no hometown… Blast it, there must be someone on this continent who knew her before she became known as Jarka Queenmaker.
